On Friday I was trying to get one of my younger ‘students’ to poop on the potty, but she was being impatient and wanted to get up. So I asked her what her favorite song was, so that we could sing it together to distract her from her impatience. I was expecting her to say “The Wheels on the Bus” or “ABC” … but instead she answered “I’m Sexy and I Know It”.
2.5 year olds should not KNOW the song “I’m Sexy and I Know It”, nor should it be their favorite song.
Being a preschool teacher makes me judgmental.
